My name is the Rev’d Philip and I’m Rector of Naas Union. You are welcome to our website. At present, worship continues as normal on Sundays: 9.30am in Rathmore and 11.00am at St. David’s. We are following the guidelines, of restricting numbers to less than 100 people. Hand sanitisers are available in all churches and at St. David’s in particular, we have re-arranged the pews to keep the recommended distance from each other. When Holy Communion is offered it will be in one kind only. Baptisms and funerals will continue as arranged, subject to the guidelines from the Department of Health regarding numbers of those who can attend.
For those of you who prefer not to attend, or who are in self isolation, I’d encourage you to use some of the daily prayer resources available on the Church of Ireland Website – www.ireland.anglican.org. We will also be posting podcasts of the Sunday worship from St. Davids. They won’t be live but will be posted to the website on Sunday afternoons.
All of us have our part to play to protect each other and one vital action we can all take is to pray. Please join with me as I conclude with this prayer, and I am grateful to Rev’d William Seale for providing it.
